About .NET Dave

Hi All,
Thanks for stopping by. Let me introduce myself, my friends call me .NET Dave... I'm just a guy with a little spare time on his hands. I built this site because of my love for programming, ASP, ASP.NET and Microsoft technologies in general. You can usually find me hanging around the ASP.NET lists found at ASP Friends.

This site really started out as an email to myself of ASP.NET links. I’d see something cool on the web (i.e. aspfree.com, aspng.com, and 4guysfromrolla.com), grab the link and email it to myself. This way, no matter where I was working at, I would have access to it. Well, the list grew and grew, I would remember seeing some cool technique somewhere, then I would print and copy the code snippets, and email it again. Sheesh, this email thing was getting to be a nightmare, before I knew it, I had over 300 emails just on cool things I had seen with ASP.NET!!! It took longer to find something in my email, than it did to track the original resource down on the web. Hence, 123Aspx Directory of ASP.NET Resources was born. So I sat down, started coding, and a few weeks later, with the help of a couple of cases of Mountain Dew, I had built this site.

I’ve tried to make this site as simple and useful as possible. If you have any comments, please email them to me. If they are good or bad, I’d love to hear about them. What do you think it would take to make this site better? What don’t you like? What do you like? If you have a resource you would like listed and don’t feel like using the online form, you can email me the URL and I’ll go take a look at it.
